80 Cockpit Motor Yacht

The Hatteras 80 Cockpit Motor Yacht is an excellent example of what made Hatteras Motor Yachts so popular with luxury buyers in the 1980s. Only a handful of these widebody models were built, and as a semi-custom yacht no two are exactly alike. While the lower deck layouts vary, several Hatteras 80 Cockpit interiors have an office area forward of the full-beam master stateroom with its huge en suite head, walk-in closets, and private salon access. Forward of the engine room—and reached directly from the pilothouse—a mid-level guest stateroom with queen berth and head are at the base of the stairs. The captain’s quarters and another guest stateroom with full head are forward. A stacked washer/dryer and large linen closet are located in the forward companionway. The enormous full-beam salon of the Hatteras 80 features a long L-shaped sofa in the aft port corner and formal dining area forward. The galley includes a dishwasher and side-by-side refrigerator, and a spiral staircase in the pilothouse leads to a vast flybridge with a large U-shaped seating area. A large covered aft deck overlooks the roomy cockpit with transom door. Detroit 12V71 870hp diesels cruise at 15–16 knots.
