77 Cockpit Motor Yacht

An impressive yacht with a commanding presence, the Hatteras 77 Cockpit Motor Yacht is an ideal choice for extended cruising, entertaining, or living aboard in comfort and luxury. Seven of these yachts were built, two with full walkaround decks and five widebody models with a full-beam salon. Designed as a crewed yacht, owner and guest privacy demands dictated the 77’s layout. The pilothouse is forward with twin doors to the side decks. A fixed bulkhead separates the galley and dinette area from the enormous main salon, and the forward crew quarters—with twin staterooms, galley, head and lounge area—are accessed from the pilothouse. Both guest staterooms and the amidships master suite are reached from a staircase forward in the salon. The master stateroom has a centerline king bed. Aft of that is the port guest stateroom with queen bed, and the guest stateroom to starboard has upper/lower berths. Aft in the salon are stairs to the flybridge; flybridge access for the crew is from a pilothouse staircase. The huge engine room of the Hatteras 77 is reached from cockpit to keep crew personnel out of yacht’s interior. Detroit 12V92 diesels cruise at 15–16 knots.
