74 Cockpit Motor Yacht

The always popular Hatteras 74 Cockpit Motor Yacht—not be to be confused with the 74 Cockpit MY Hatteras produced from 1988 to 1991—is yet another example of why the Hatteras brand so dominated the motoryacht market in the not-so-distant past. A great blend of modern (if conservative) styling and lush accommodations, the powerful lines of the Hatteras 74 conceal a spacious four-stateroom interior with a roomy full-beam salon and opulent master suite with private salon access, king bed, and Jacuzzi tub/shower. A formal dining area is forward in the salon, and the full-service galley includes a side-by-side refrigerator in addition to a dishwasher and Corian counters. Opposite the galley, to starboard, is the dinette. The pilothouse includes with port and starboard deck doors and steps to the flybridge. The guest staterooms are forward and accessed directly from pilothouse stairs. There are two VIP suites with queen beds and a twin-berth stateroom with over/under bunks which is suitable for crew. The engine room is accessed from the master stateroom alcove. Molded fiberglass steps descend from the covered aft deck to the cockpit. Cat 1400hp 3412 engines cruise at 22–23 knots.
