67 Extended Deckhouse Cockpit MY
1991–97
Only a few built
The Hatteras 67 Extended Deckhouse Cockpit Motor Yacht (EDCMY) had the distinction of being the smallest Hatteras cockpit yacht of her era with a galley-up floorplan. This model is basically a Hatteras 60 Extended Deckhouse MY with a 7-foot cockpit addition. Heavily built with cored hullsides, a long keel, and low deadrise aft, she retains the walkaround side decks of the 60 EDMY although they're much narrower than in previous Hatteras models.
The spacious four-stateroom floorplan of the Hatteras 67 features light ash woodwork throughout and very generous guest accommodations. The dinette and galley are on the deckhouse level and open to the salon, while the wheelhouse—with its flybridge access—is separate. Where the original 67 had three heads, Hatteras designers added a fourth head in 1996 by reducing the size of one of the guest cabins. A small afterdeck overlooks the cockpit, and there’s room on the huge flybridge for a small crowd. Additional features include a huge VIP guest stateroom, private access to the owner’s aft cabin, and a transom door. GM 870hp 12V71s cruise at 17–18 knots, and newer models with 1,040hp 12V92s cruise at 20 knots.
