64 Convertible

2006–11

Hatteras Yachts 64 Convertible
When it came to the 64 Convertible, Hatteras pushed all the right buttons—the styling is crisp, the accommodations are lush, and the finish is world-class throughout. Introduced in 2006, the 64’s huge cockpit and spacious accommodations are the result of a broad 19'6" beam. She rides on a low-deadrise hull with cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass bottom. Moderate propeller tunnels are molded into the hull to reduce draft. Inside, the 64’s opulent salon features a vast U-shaped sectional sofa to port, opposite a full-length cherry cabinet with built-in 42" plasma TV. The galley/dinette area is a step up from the salon and features a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, microwave/convection oven, trash compactor, disposal, and three Subzero units—two refrigerators and one freezer. There are four staterooms below including an enormous full-beam master suite with centerline king berth and en suite head with granite counters and cherry cabinets. (Note the unique opening ports in the master stateroom.) A mezzanine deck with lounge seating overlooks the spacious cockpit. No lightweight, Cat 1,800hp C-32 engines cruise the Hatteras 64 at 28–30 knots (mid 30s top).
