63 Cockpit Motor Yacht
The Hatteras 63 Cockpit Motor Yacht is basically a Hatteras 58 Motor Yacht (1985–87) with a cockpit. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 18'2" beam, the interior of the Hatteras 63 includes a roomy main salon separated from the lower helm by a room divider/helm seat with built-in entertainment center. The mid-level galley is down several steps from the helm/salon area and features large counter spaces for food preparation, abundant storage lockers and drawers, and booth style dinette for four. Forward is a guest or crew cabin with over/under bunks and private head with shower. To port, forward of the engine rooms, is the guest stateroom with twin berths. Aft is the full-beam master stateroom with walkaround queen berth, small settee, and private head with tub and shower. The cockpit is large enough for fishing or entertaining besides providing guests and crew with an easy boarding point. Topside, the flybridge is huge with an L-shaped settee and three pedestal helm chairs. Additional features include port/starboard wheelhouse doors, teak interior joinery, transom door, foredeck lounge seating, and swim platform. Detroit 840hp diesels cruise at 16–18 knots.
