The Hatteras 48 Cockpit MY was a top-tier cruising yacht in her day with modern lines, luxury-class accommodations, and the versatility that comes when a cockpit is added to a motoryacht layout. Even today, the Hatteras 48 is a good boat for the cruising couple, liveaboards, and those wanting to entertain in style without breaking the bank. A wide 16-foot beam permits an expansive interior with light oak woodwork, two double staterooms, comfortable salon, and spacious aft deck able to accommodate a small crowd. The standard layout has walkaround queen beds in both staterooms, two heads with separate stall showers, and a spacious salon with U-shaped sofa, coffee table, and built-in entertainment center.
