Eastbay 58 Flybridge
2004–07
Luxury on a grand scale defines the Eastbay 58, a distinctive flybridge cruiser aimed at discriminating buyers with an eye for traditional styling and quality construction. This is an impressive yacht on many levels; from the spiral staircase aft to the polished anchor platform at the bow, the Eastbay gets the details right at every turn. Her three-stateroom, galley-down interior is designed for extended passages with plenty of company aboard, and an optional galley-up layout provides a fourth cabin that can easily be set up as an office. The salon is finished in warm teak joinery, and a sliding door at the helm provides easy access to the Eastbay’s teak-laid decks. Access to the standup engine room is through a large watertight door in the cockpit, and wide side decks make it easy to move around the house. Topside, the 58 boasts what is arguably the most comfortable flybridge seating available on a yacht this size. Additional features include a teak swim platform, bow thruster, premium Stidd helm seats (above and below), cockpit wet bar, and a brilliantly lit engine room. On the downside, there’s not much cockpit storage. A surprisingly good performer, 1,400hp Cat diesels will deliver a top speed of over 30 knots.
