With her covered side decks and classic Europa lines, the Grand Banks 54 Heritage EU is a cruising yacht of exception beauty and elegance. The 54EU’s three stateroom interior offers exceptional living and storage space on the lower deck, plus the option to add crew quarters. The main deck layout features facing sofas in the salon, an L-shaped dinette with inlaid teak table forward, large galley (with Corian counters and generous storage), and a centerline helm complete with Stidd chair and port/starboard deck access doors. A curved stairwell descends from the helm to the lower-level accommodations which include a full-beam master stateroom with queen bed, forward VIP stateroom with walkaround queen, and a guest stateroom with over/under bunks. A utility room with washer/dryer and watertight engine room door is reached from the master stateroom. The 54EU’s covered cockpit features a built-in settee, teak table, and an engine room access hatch in the teak sole. Built on a semi-displacement hull with cored hullsides and a keel that is lower than the props (which are recessed into hull pockets), Cummins QSM11 715hp diesels with V-drive transmissions cruise at 14–16 knots.
