The Grand Banks Europa 46 is a top-tier cruising yacht with sporty Europa styling, luxurious amenities, and unsurpassed quality. Built on the same hard-chined hull as the Grand Banks 46 Classic, the Europa’s standard two-stateroom interior has the galley forward in the salon, two full heads, and a roomy owner’s stateroom forward with walkaround island bed. To port in the salon is a large L-shaped settee facing a teak hi-low table. (An optional two-stateroom, galley-down layout has a larger salon and smaller master stateroom and guest head.) Teak parquet flooring extends through the interior, and 360-degree salon windows provide panoramic views of the water. Sliding wood-framed doors open to a large cockpit that is shaded by a bridge overhang. Molded steps in the cockpit provide easy access to the flybridge with seating for eight. The engine room—accessed from the cockpit sole via a utility room plumbed for a washer/dryer—has nearly five feet of headroom. Among several engine options offered over the years, Cummins 210hp diesels cruise at 9–10 knots, and 375hp Cat diesels cruise at 13–14 knots.
