Blackfin Yachts

25 Fisherman

1978–84

The Blackfin 25 Combi and Fisherman were the boats that placed the Blackfin name squarely in the consciousness of many serious anglers. Heavily built on a trailerable deep-V hull, the Fisherman is a traditional center console design whose walkaround deck layout and uncluttered cockpit should appeal to the dedicated angler. The Combi, on the other hand, is more of an express model with a wraparound windshield with a helm and companion seat flanking the centerline. Both were available with inboard or outboard power, and both models came with the same cuddy cabin with berths for two, storage, and a marine head. (Note that the twin inboard-powered Fisherman also came in a side-console configuration.) Notable features of both models include under-gunwale rod storage, flush-mounted rod holders, and a full-height bow rail. Rugged and well-built small boats with genuine offshore capabilities, Blackfin offered a wide variety of power options for these boats, including both single and twin engines, during their production run.
