272 Center Console

2018–Current

The Blackfin 272 CC is one of a series of new Blackfin-branded models built by Monterey Boats of Williston, FL. Where the original Blackfins were mostly inboard powered fishing boats for hardcore anglers, the new Blackfin 272 is an outboard powered 27-footer suitable for the entire family. A quality boat built to high standards, the thoughtful layout serves equally well as a roomy fishing platform or versatile family cruiser. The cleverly designed transom bench seat hides away to free up cockpit space for fishing, and a console seat with flip-up armrests accommodates two with a cooler under. The helm features twin adjustable captain seats, pull out drink cooler, tackle storage drawers, and a bait prep station with sink with pull out shower. The console houses head compartment, and just forward of the console is a large in-floor storage locker for boat fenders. Insulated fish boxes are port and starboard in the cockpit, and on the port transom is a 30-gallon livewell. A composite stringer grid is bonded into the hull, and carbon-fiber reinforcement makes the structure rigid. Twin 300hp Verado outboards push the 272 to a top speed in the mid 50-knot range.
