The Blackfin 25 Combi (pictured above) and Fisherman were the two boats that placed the Blackfin brand squarely in the consciousness of serious anglers in the 1980s. Built on a trailerable deep-V hull with a slender 8-foot beam, the Fisherman is a traditional center console design whose walkaround deck layout and uncluttered cockpit will appeal to the dedicated angler. The Combi, on the other hand, is more of an express model with a wraparound windshield with a helm and companion seat flanking the centerline. Both were available with inboard or outboard power, and both came with the same cuddy cabin with berths for two, storage, and a marine head. (Note that the twin inboard-powered Fisherman also came in a side-console configuration.) Notable features of both models include under-gunwale rod storage, flush-mounted rod holders, raw-water washdown, and a full-height bow rail. Rugged and well built, both the Combi and Fisherman offer genuine offshore capabilities due primarily to their solid construction and proven deep-V hull. Blackfin offered a wide variety of single- and twin-engine power options during their production run.
