Azimut Yachts
85 Ultimate
1999–2007
Sleek Italian styling, lush accommodations, and solid performance are combined in the Azimut 85, a state of the art luxury yacht whose sales success following her 1998 introduction was extraordinary for a yacht this size. The 85’s rakish profile includes several trademark Azimut features including elliptical salon windows and a large full-width extended flybridge. A garage for the tender is built into the transom, and the four-stateroom interior was designed exclusively for the American market. The Azimut’s vast main salon is furnished with facing semicircular sofas and the entire area forward of the galley is occupied by the raised pilothouse and settee. Note the deck access door in the galley. From the salon, an electrically operated curved glass door opens onto the covered aft deck where a portside door provides access to the crew quarters below. The VIP and two guest staterooms feature queen berths, and the master stateroom has a king berth and en suite bath with Jacuzzi tub. Standard features include a lacquered cherrywood interior, sunken foredeck sun pad, teak decks and spacious flybridge with Jacuzzi and barbecue. MTU 1,350hp diesels cruise at 20 knots (mid 20s knots top).
