58 Flybridge

2008–12

Azimut Yachts 58 Flybridge
A standout yacht whose elegant styling will stand the test of time, the 58 Fly was introduced in 2008 replacing the super-popular Azimut 55 Evolution, a yacht often viewed in its own right as a revolutionary design. The 58 shares several of her predecessor’s features including a similar three stateroom, two head lower level layout with the same 45-degree offset queen berth in a full beam master suite. Forward, the VIP cabin has a pair of scissors berths that join together to form a queen berth. A twin berth guest cabin is to starboard, while an optional single berth crew cabin with private head can be reached from under the aft deck settee (there’s no transom entrance). The main deck of the Azimut 58 is arranged on two levels with the salon aft and galley, dinette and helm forward. A passenger settee sits next to both helms—a thoughtful touch often missing on yachts like this. Prop pockets reduce shaft angles for improved efficiency. Standard features include a hydraulic swim platform, bow/stern thrusters, joystick controls and a flybridge grill. Engine room space is tight as it is in most European yachts. MAN 800hp diesels cruise at 26–27 knots (30+ top).
