Azimut Yachts 52 Flybridge
Sleek Italian styling and exciting performance characterize Azimut 52, a versatile flybridge yacht from Europe’s largest boat builder. With her elliptical windows and sharply raked profile, the 52 is a striking yacht, and the fact that her performance matches her bold appearance only adds to her appeal. Built on a deep-V hull with propeller tunnels to level the motors, the Azimut 52’s three-stateroom interior includes two large heads, each with a shower stall. Entering from the cockpit through a sliding glass door, the cherry wood interior is dominated by a long U-shaped leather settee to port, opposite an entertainment center and two occasional chairs. The galley—forward to starboard—is partially obscured from view by a semicircular wood facade. Visibility from the portside lower helm is just okay, and power vent windows on either side of the salon disappear into the deckhouse. Below, the forward master stateroom has a queen island berth, and both guest staterooms have side-by-side berths. Twin entryways from the extended swim platform makes boarding easy. The engine room is a tight fit. Cat 660hp Cat 3196 diesels cruise the Azimut 52 at 28–29 knots (low 30s top).
