Two Upcoming East Coast Boat Shows
If you’re a yachtsman, boater, or simply an enthusiast who will be located on the East Coast this fall, there are two upcoming International Boat Shows that you may want to add to your calendar. One located in the Northeast and the other in the Southeast, HMY will be exhibiting at both. We’ve got you covered with each show’s information so you can plan accordingly. Both of these international boat shows are in-water and world-renowned, offering attendees access to the best brands, brokerage companies, marine services, activities, food, and libations. Whether you are a buyer, seller or just assessing the current market, either one of these east coast boat shows will be worth your while.
The Newport International Boat Show
Located in the historic maritime town of Newport Rhode Island, the 51st annual Newport International Boat Show is set to run from September 15 – 18, 2022. As the Northeast’s largest in-water display, expect to see many new yachts by brands like OKEAN Yachts, Hinkley Yachts, Vicem, Hunt Yachts, Back Cove, and Sabre. The show itself spans 13 acres of Newport’s beautiful and famed downtown area.
Last year spirits were high as Newport held its first show in the post-covid world and attendance was up 10% over 2019. “After celebrating a successful Golden Anniversary in 2021, the 2022 Show is sure to be an event not to miss,” said Lisa Knowles, Show Director of Newport Exhibition Group. “With continued demand for boats by consumers still strong, supply chain challenges being addressed, and a continually re-invigorated industry, the Newport International Boat Show is going to be the place to see what is new and innovative in boating for 2022 and beyond.”
Certainly, this boating and yachting event in the “City By The Sea” is the best place in the Northeast to experience new boat models and new marine technology for 2022. While it is a family-friendly event there are also exclusive VIP experiences and events that are sure to impress. OKEAN and Two Oceans opened a sales office in Newport, Rhode Island in conjunction with HMY Yacht Sales. Our team is excited to be an exhibitor at the 2022 Newport International Boat Show with the new OKEAN Yachts 57’ on display.
