Power & Motoryacht Magazine check out the Viking 75

The 75 Motor Yacht, the first motor yacht built by Viking Yachts since 2001, has put Viking Yachts back on the map for luxury motor yachts. Captain Bill Pike with Power and Motoryacht Magazine saw her for the first time earlier this year and took her out for a sea trial. From the engine room to the spacious aft deck, Capt. Bill gives his rundown on the newest member of the Viking family.
Captain Bill heads to the engine room first where he sees two standard-issue 29-kW Quiet Diesel Onan generators and as he says, “Anyone who’s run a boat hard and long knows it’s way better to have two equally rated gensets on hand than just one.” Check out the article here, http://bit.ly/1Frs2fA, to read more about the engine room as Captain Bill examines the crash pumps, the Oil Transfer System and more.
The interior of the 75 Motor Yacht offers lavish design and ample room for entertaining friends and family. Fitted with four, large en suite staterooms that allow sleeping for 12, the 75 Motor Yacht provides you and your family an elegant experience on the water.
Captain Bill took the 75 for a sea trial out in 6-8 footers and reports the ride felt “rockin’-chair comfy, the windshield remained bone-dry, running attitudes held at 4 degrees or less, and slightlines stayed superb.” To see video of the 75 on the water, check out the video below shared by Power and Motoryacht Magazine and Viking Yachts.
The Viking 75 Motor Yacht will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this November 5-9th. Call your HMY Viking Specialist today to schedule an appointment to preview her during the show- it’s highly recommended as she is must-see for many at the show.
