The start of a new year brings much excitement for boat aficionados. From new model releases to prime offshore fishing, there’s plenty to enjoy through the winter and early spring.
With several major events concentrated in the first quarter, the beginning of the year also represents the height of boat show season. So far, 2024 is set to impress, filled with unmissable debuts, exclusive exhibitions, and plenty of other perks. You’ll find HMY at each of the shows below — we can’t wait to see you!
Stuart Boat Show, January 12 – 14, 2024
Marking its 50th anniversary this January, the 2024 Stuart Boat Show will feature a massive collection of motor yachts, center consoles, and fishing boats on display. From local exhibitors to international vendors from across the globe, this celebrated event draws the best in boating from all reaches of the earth. Visit HMY at C-Dock to see some of the finest Nimbus boat models on display. The Scandinavian builder is known for their sleek designs, smart use of functional space, and innovative hull design.
Miami International Boat Show, February 14-18, 2024
One of the largest in the world, the Miami International Boat Show takes place across six locations in Downtown Miami. Two stand-out locations will host the on-land portion of the event, while the in-water portion will spread across four local marinas. This year, expect to see at least a thousand brands on display. The HMY team will have a strong presence at the show, so be sure to stop by for an exclusive glimpse into our latest offerings.
Stuart Trawlerfest, February 27 – March 2, 2024
Set to be hosted in the stunningly updated Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort and Marina, the Trawlerfest in Stuart will feature both new and pre-owned power cruisers. In addition to taking in the exhibitions, attendees can also enjoy event seminars at the hotel’s conference center. If you’re unable to attend the Stuart Boat Show earlier in the season, at Trawlerfest you’ll get a second chance to see three Nimbus models on display: all versatile cruisers that are ideal for day boating in South Florida. Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 21-24, 2024
Directly across the Intercoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island along Flagler Drive, this boat show gathers a stunning lineup of exhibitors and over 800 boats on display. In 2024, the luxurious Windward VIP package will include early admission, a premium Club where distinguished guests can experience an exclusive sanctuary in which to relax, wine and dine, and plan the day, as well as One-Day General Admission access to the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Art Fair. But don’t miss seeing HMY’s team too, who’ll be out in full force at this springtime event. We’ll be sharing even more details regarding displays as the show draws near.
Newport International Boat Show, September 12-15, 2024
A far distance from South Florida yet certainly no less scenic, New England is home to the Newport International Boat Show in Rhode Island. Though we’re several months out, be sure to pencil in this event to enjoy the Northeast in all its late summer glory. You’ll find a vast collection of sailboats and powerboats spanning 13 acres across the downtown district. HMY will be debuting the eagerly anticipated ECLIPSE 505, a boundary-breaking 50-foot cruiser blending luxury and performance. To construct these special beauties, Two Oceans built a separate facility dedicated to their production, and the results we’ve seen thus far have been nothing short of remarkable.
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), October 30 – November 3, 2024
Though FLIBS 2023 just recently wrapped, we’re already eagerly awaiting the 2024 show. To tide us over, we’ve been reliving highlights from this year’s event:
- Viking’s first-ever 90’ Open Bridge Convertible appeared on display
- The Nimbus W11, a stunning 40’ weekender, made its North American debut
- Two Oceans debuted Hull #002 for their 555 power catamaran, a power-packed boat with an exclusive “Off-Grid” package
- Princess Yachts unveiled the Y95, the stunning flagship superyacht for their Y series, for its North American debut
