Interior View of The Viking 75′ Motor Yacht
As seen in the latest "Viking View" email, take an inside look at the Viking 75' Motor Yacht. The 75' Motor Yacht combines the highest levels of luxury, style, and comfort with Viking performance, engineering, and quality. With two salons, an open galley, six staterooms, and multiple outdoor areas, this tri-deck passagemaker has more interior volume than any other yacht in its class. Take a look at the comfortable and spacious living areas of Viking's latest 75' MY, which will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oct. 27-31.
Walking into the salon is a delight to the senses, and your first impression will be that you are aboard a much larger yacht. With nearly 21 feet of beam, the expanse resembles a stately great room, artfully decorated with walnut joinery with a gloss finish, premium carpeting, designer fabrics, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Here’s a nice view of our open-galley design, which features a walnut island (topped with quartz counters) and a three-stool bar area. The counter’s waterfall edge heightens the visual appeal as you walk into the galley.
The galley layout and size allow for more than one cook, and the bar area invites guests for conversation with the chef(s) as the meal is prepared. The custom Amtico flooring is attractive, durable, and easy to clean. The galley is fully appointed with the highest-quality appliances and conveniences, such as Sub-Zero under-counter refrigerator and freezer units with drawers, a Miele four-burner cooktop and oven, a dishwasher, a trash compactor, and a stainless steel sink. The pantry to starboard holds a tremendous amount of cabinet and drawer storage in addition to a microwave/convection oven and a coffee maker, both by Miele.
The same attractive Amtico flooring covers the raised forward dining area, which features a portside walnut table with stainless steel pedestal and wraparound seating for six. There’s also a large pop-up HD TV, just one of the yacht’s nine televisions.
The spacious starboard-side day head offers plentiful natural light and features a Cambria-topped vanity, Cambria flooring, a vessel sink and a satin nickel faucet. The custom interior staircase, which joins the salon and the enclosed bridge, epitomizes the yacht’s artful and efficient use of space.
The air-conditioned enclosed bridge provides a control station as well as a luxurious second salon, complete with an L-shaped lounge, walnut cocktail table, HD TV, and an electric-powered sunroof.
The raised wraparound helm console with black Ultraleather surfaces holds a custom electronics, navigation, and communications package from the Viking subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics. The custom Stidd helm and companion chairs, with their matching black Ultraleather, provide ample comfort and visibility.
The full-beam master stateroom spans the yacht’s beam, with a king bed and custom upholstered headboard that face a 46-inch HD TV. The abundant storage and seating include twin maple-lined hanging closets with mirror-faced doors; a vanity/desk, a mirror, and a chair; and a love seat.
The crew area consists of two nicely appointed staterooms, a head (with separate walk-in shower), galley, and immediate access to the engineroom as well as the main electrical panel and other critical system components.
