HMY once again witnessed great success in the Viking booth at both the ever-popular Viking VIP event in early February, and the Miami International Boat Show less than two weeks after. On Thursday prior to the VIP event, HMY had the exclusive opportunity to spend quality time touring the all-new Viking 90 Convertible and the Valhalla V-55. The VIP brought many members of the Viking family, as well as new faces, to witness both the Viking and Valhalla model lineups. Contracted customers with hulls on order had the opportunity to sea trial their respective boats. Thanks to the excitement surrounding the VIP, Viking sold eighteen new boats. After the great success at the Viking VIP event, the Miami International Boat Show was a spectacular showcasing of two new flagship models. Marine publications, customers, and fans of the Viking brand spent ample time witnessing two more success stories to the company’s history, amplifying their presence to the market and the future of Viking.
Viking 48 Convertible
As of this publication, HMY is pleased to offer its in-stock Viking 48 Convertible to the market. The 48 is unique in many ways, as it is Viking’s introduction model to the convertible fleet, and is designed to be a true owner-operator vessel that can both fish and cruise in a similar manner to the rest of the Viking fleet. From the beginning, HMY carefully crafted the specifications of this particular 48 Convertible to make sure it would meet the expectations of any owner-operator, and throughout the build process observed its progress at the Viking Yacht Company in New Gretna, N.J. From the large 124 square foot cockpit that is equipped with the best fishing features such as an Eskimo Ice Machine and a Seakeeper 9, to its well-appointed open flybridge with a custom electronics package from AME, and powered with twin MAN 1200MHP Common Rail diesels, HMY visualizes the 48 Convertible being a true fishing machine.
From the South Florida sailfishing circuit, to the Bahamas, and even bigger tournaments such as the South Carolina Governor's Cup Series, the 48 Convertible can really amplify the owner-operator’s fishing opportunities.
