Summer East Coast Tournament Season

We couldn't be more thrilled for our clients to participate in the upcoming fishing tournaments along the East Coast, including the renowned Big Rock, MidAtlantic, JJ Quest for the Ring Championship - Atlantic City, and White Marlin Open. These tournaments offer an incredible opportunity to showcase their fishing skills and compete against some of the best anglers in the region. The East Coast is famous for its abundant marine life, and these tournaments provide the perfect platform to experience the thrill of reeling in massive catches like marlin and other prized game fish. As we eagerly anticipate the start of each tournament, we are confident that our clients will make waves and create unforgettable memories in these prestigious fishing competitions. We hope to see you out there!

Alongside our clients we are looking forward to following along the Viking Demo program as they participate in these tournaments and many more! This summer’s Viking Demo Program consists of a Viking 64 Convertible and a Viking 80 Convertible. The Viking 64 will kick-off the season fishing the Big Rock and the Viking 80 will join the circuit in mid July once it is completed. Captain Sean Dooley will run the Viking Demo program from the Viking 64 until late July; then transfer to the Viking 80 when it is completed. He will then take over on the Viking 80 and Captain West Rivers will captain the Viking 64 for the remaining of the summer season! We are excited to see these two tournament battle wagons compete this summer and we wish them the best of luck!"

Viking 58 Convertible

The 58 Convertible can both dominate the tournament trail or cruise to distant waters in comfort. With a beam of 17’9”, yet a draft of only five feet, this impressive vessel can be operated in almost any waters.  Anglers will rarely feel crowded in the 165 square foot cockpit that houses several refrigerated in deck fish boxes, a dedicated watertight hatch for the optional Seakeeper 9 Gyrostabilizer, and a transom live well with coaming hatches. Those observing can view all the action from the comfortable standard mezzanine seating area with optional Ultraleather cushions. The mezzanine area also houses the optional Eskimo ice chipper system, a refrigerated drink box, a dedicated bait freezer, and a centerline entrance into the engine room.

Owners and guests will immediately realize the extensive volume of the interior when they enter the salon via the starboard entrance, which has a direct view of the forepeak. The richness of the interior is also immediately apparent with either a high gloss or satin wood finish package. A pop-up TV is to starboard, and an Ultraleather u-shaped couch to port. The Galley has two levels of countertops with bar seating and is surrounded by bar stools. The Galley is an impressive space that has ample storage and refrigeration storage. Below in the accommodations, everyone will feel very comfortable in the 58 Convertible’s three stateroom two head layout that includes a large master stateroom with a queen bed and private en-suite head, side-by-side bunks in the starboard stateroom, and either a queen walk around, or optional crossover layout in the VIP stateroom.

The Flybridge is a very efficient space with a walkaround helm that is centered with an optional Teak Helm Pod from Release Marine, optional electronics packages from Viking’s subsidiary company AME, and ample seating on either side or forward. The Viking 58 will reach the fishing or cruising grounds in a hurry through various engine packages from MAN and MTU, helping this boat cruise in the mid-30s and at WOT in the low 40s depending on sea conditions.
