About The 2017 Monaco Yacht Show
As with every major boat show, organizers work hard each year to ensure they are continually improving upon the format of the event helping to maximize the return for their exhibitors while also delivering a bigger and better experience as a whole for the visitors. For the 27th edition, the MYS management team has introduced several new features in hopes of increasing presence and peaking the interest of potential clients.
As part of their new strategy to upgrade the 2017 show, MYS has rolled out what they've dubbed the "Sapphire Experience", a plan that was launched months ahead of showtime to help bring in fresh clientele. Teaming up with the Monaco embassy, MYS organizers has been putting together a series of events and social gatherings in London and New York with an exclusive, well-vetted guestlist of interested high net worth individuals. Attendees of these events are invited to Monaco to not only experience the show, but to also be introduced to the area as a yachting destination. This savvy initiative stands to draw qualified potential clients to the show and to the region in the hopes that their visit will inspire them to make their entry into the yacht market. Participants of the MYS Sapphire Experience will gain access to a private concierge service that entitles them to tours of Port Hercules and introductions to brokers and shipyards.
In addition to the Sapphire Experience, on the night prior to the Monaco Yacht Show, show management will host the second annual Monaco Yacht Summit, which is an educational conference for prospective clients. This session will serve to discuss pertinent information for benefit of future owners before they meet with brokers and board yachts. Helpful knowledge will be shared here and the floor will be open for any questions potential buyers may have so that they may arrive to the show well-prepared and with condfidence to navigate through their options and make an informed decision regarding the yacht they would like to buy.
For anyone who attends the Monaco Yacht Show there will be endless amounts of glorious things to do and see. You'll want to be sure to set aside enough time to marvel at the largest super yachts appearing in the show which include 92-meter M/Y Aquarius by Feadship, 85-meter M/Y Areti by Lurssen, 74-meter Cloud 9 by CRN Yachts, and Benetti's 67-meter M/Y Seasense. During the 4-day exhibition, aside from being utterly mesmerized by the most prestigeous mega yachts on earth, guests can attend hundreds of lavish events, all which help to make MYS the exceptional and unforgettable show that it is.
