HMY Yacht Sales 2019: A Year In Review
As another year comes to a close, HMY Yacht Sales is reflecting on the highlights of the past twelve months with gratitude and appreciation. Looking back on 2019, we would like to sincerely thank our clients for making another incredible year possible and we look forward to continuing in our pursuit of helping each and every customer achieve their yachting goals.
2019 Sales Report
HMY Yacht Sales is projecting to close 2019 on a high note with approximately 425 new and used boats sold for a total of $500,000,000. That’s a healthy 10% increase in used yacht units sold over 2018.
As one of the leading Viking Yachts dealers in the country, HMY typically averages 75-80 used Viking sales per year but 2019 saw a significant uptick with an estimated 98 used Vikings to be sold. New Viking sales were also strong this year with HMY delivering new models from 44’ up to 93’. HMY is projected to end 2019 with nearly 120 new and used Viking yachts sold.
Additionally, HMY had a banner year with Princess Yachts sales closing and delivering a dozen new models in 2019 including the first R35 in North America. Six of the new Princess Y85 yachts are under contract along with several Y78’s. Numerous other new Princess yachts have been contracted and scheduled to deliver in 2020 and beyond. For the second year in a row, HMY had the honor of being recognized as the number one Princess dealer in North America.

This November 1st, HMY celebrated the milestone anniversary of 40 years in business. Steve Moynihan and the entire HMY team would like to thank every employee and client of the past 40 years.
