Sporting a more dramatic sheer than previous Viking convertibles and offered with an open or enclosed bridge, the massive cockpit of the Viking 82 delivers just over 250 square feet of working space. An observation mezzanine houses bait freezers, freezer, rigging station, drink box, etc., and the open flybridge features a center helm console with electronic engine controls and wraparound lounge seating forward. The 82's broad 22'4" beam allows a salon of impressive proportions with hand-finished teak joinery and granite counters throughout. A companionway to port leads to four staterooms plus private crew quarters below including an opulent amidships master with king-size bed, walk-in closets, settee and dressing table. Note the salon day head next to the sliding electric salon door, and the big engine room hatch. Constructed on a modified-V hull with deep prop pockets and underwater exhausts, MTU 16V2000 2400hp diesels cruise at 32 knots (mid to high 30s top).

Vessel Walkthrough
Access from port or starboard cockpit up to mezzanine observation deck with built-in seating, and removable table with recessed drink holders. Air conditioning ducts above seating in cabin overhang for shade.
Access to the main salon is granted via an electric sliding door. Upon entrance, one will notice the high gloss teak paneling and joiner work. To starboard is the day head and staircase access to the enclosed bridge, storage cabinet and 55" Hi-Lo TV. To port is an L-shaped sofa with storage below and Hi-lo table. Forward towards the galley is an island with (3) bar stools. The dinette is to port. Forward of galley to port is the pantry area. To starboard is the walk-in tackle room.
The master stateroom is forward with athwartships king berth, walk-in closet and ensuite head. To port is an L-berth arrangement with ensuite head, to starboard is twin berth stateroom with ensuite head. Down and aft to port is the crew galley, settee bunks convert to upper/lower berth and fold down dining table in addition to an ensuite head with stall shower. To starboard is the Captain’s cabin with twin berths and Pullman berth to create a third bunk. Access to the engine room is through a watertight door with viewing porthole, an ensuite head with stall shower.
Back to the salon and up the staircase to the enclosed bridge. To starboard is a wet bar with refrigerator drawers, Hi-lo 40" TV, port and starboard raised observation seats, electronics console, Stidd helm seat. Aft to port is raised L-shaped sofa with cocktail table. Aft to aft bridge control station with custom teak decking, access ladder to cockpit and tower ladder, and built-in settee.
