Superyacht Andrea VI has been making waves in boating magazines ShowBoats International and Boat International. ShowBoats International and Boat International ran full articles on this magnificent yacht with plenty of exterior and interior pictures to showcase her excellence. Andrea VI is the first model in the Horizon RP110 superyacht series. The couple that owns the yacht is as boat savvy as they come- owning 5 yachts prior including another Horizon yacht. After 5 boats, they knew exactly what they wanted in a superyacht, down to the last detail. The RP110 is available in a myriad of layouts that will meet the needs of you and your family; however, should the perfect layout be unavailable Horizon Yachts will work with you to design the yacht of your dreams. This is exactly what the couple that own the Andrea VI did- they chose the RP 110 model and went to work designing the perfect layout to fit their cruising needs. These custom details include huge frameless windows to showcase the water around the yacht, an open-designed galley/country kitchen, a large wraparound sofa on the aft main deck and custom, never before manufactured transparent panels designed by EZ2CY to enclose the flybridge deck. The flybridge is an important area to the Andrea VI owners as they want the ability “to live outside” when they’re on the flybridge. The measures taken to ensure a high quality, highly consistent hull performance and excellent seakeeping ability showcase Horizons uncompromising attention to detail. The shipyard subjected the hull to their new NDT process that uses ultrasonic testing to measure and scan the inner hull for any defects- this process ensures excellent hull performance. Horizon says the RP110 reaches top speed at 23 knots but the captain of the Andrea VI reports reaching 24 knots at full rpm with twin 1,935hp Caterpillar C32A ACERT diesels.
