Captain Dave Zarrello is a retired NYPD Detective and has been a USCG-licensed Captain for over 20 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he found his passion for the water as a child, fishing on a family boat out of Gerritsen Beach and Jamaica Bay. After his life in law enforcement, Capt. Dave focused on his full-time love affair with the ocean. He ran a fishing charter operation out of Babylon, NY, while running a 50’ Viking and competing in the Tuna and Billfish tournament circuit all along the Atlantic coast. After moving to South Florida 14 years ago, Dave has run luxury yachts for both charter and private families. In recent years, he has focused on bringing his vast knowledge of both sportfishing and luxury yachting to his customers in new yacht and brokerage sales.
