With a fully enclosed aft deck and flybridge and accommodations for six, the 60 Sport Yacht ranks among the most versatile motor yachts of her day.
Named Boating Magazine’s Boat of the Year in 1995, the 60 Cockpit Sport Yacht is basically a Viking 54 Sport Yacht (1994–2001) with a cockpit extension. The popularity of this handsome yacht has much to do with her comfortable accommodations. The enclosed aft deck, two steps above the main salon, serves as a second salon. Overlooking the cockpit, this roomy climate controlled space is the perfect spot for entertaining family and friends. The well-appointed lower salon has an L-shaped leather sofa to port, U-shaped galley forward, and an L-shaped dinette with teak table across from the galley. The Sport Yacht sleeps six in three staterooms including a large full-beam master suite aft with a walk-in closet and access to the standup engine room. A VIP stateroom with en suite head/shower is forward, and the second guest stateroom to starboard has upper/lower bunks and a private head/shower. The flybridge — also enclosed and air-conditioned — features three helm chairs, lounge seating, and a full width console. With some 70 square feet of space and a transom door, the cockpit is a great swimming and diving platform. This was the last motor yacht Viking produced until the Viking 75 MY came out in 2014. MAN 1,050hp 12-cylinder diesels cruise at 24 knots (about 28 knots top).
ENCLOSED AFT DECK
With panoramic views and 200 square feet of space, the enclosed and air-conditioned aft deck is a second salon perfect for entertaining.
The impressive fit and finish throughout the 60’s interior mirrors the meticulous craftsmanship found in Viking’s larger convertibles.
