Two Oceans 555 Power Catamaran Hull #003 Review

David Jerkovic here from HMY Yachts, and welcome back to those of you who have been following the series of hulls 1, 2, and now 3 of the Two Oceans 555 Power Catamaran. Let's check out the differences between this and the prior boats. We have a lot to go through. Starting off of the back of the boat, you may notice, where did the teak go? Where's the non-skid? These customers had the boat shipped from the factory slick with no non-skid on it whatsoever and had faux teak by Plasdeck added. Details, details, details. Every one of these builds will have more details as we go forward. Check out the Two Oceans CNC milled stainless octopus logo. And then they had these custom transom gates built. Pretty slick. Also with the logo. What a different space with the faux teak. It's almost a mild taupe color. Dual cup holders, no latches, just like we've had in the past on all the storage. Moving up our side decks, continuous improvement. Take a look at the wonderful chafe guards that we've got on the lip edge and flat below each cleat. These are really cool. These customers asked for these custom raised edge loungers. Not just here on the foredeck, but also up on the flybridge forward lounger. Welcome to the flybridge on hull number three. What a totally different space this is with the faux teak and all the changes that these owners have done. On the starboard aft corner of the flybridge, check out this custom gate in the wellman. This is for the addition of a water slide. In front of me here is a dual burner griddle and grill combo. Another departure from the norm chosen by these owners is an upgraded ES1100 Steelhead davit versus the standard 1000. And between these two features I've just outlined is a massive space for not only your tender, but also entertaining. This flybridge galley includes the optional ice maker, standard refrigerator, and vast storage that you'll see on every one of the triple fives. To my left, you'll find what looks to be the standard settee table on a triple five. Well, this one is not. It is custom set up to convert into a bed as this area has the optional air conditioning. The way these owners have set this boat up is for pure entertainment. Behind me with this power drop down TV, you can understand what a great space this becomes for entertaining and relaxing. These owners added this custom cocktail table next to the independent helm seats, which you haven't seen before. This is an option. Large changes here at the helm. When you look at the face, Garmin plotters, autopilot, VHF, and integral controller. Where did the switches go? We moved everything all up here, just like you see on a lot of bigger motor yachts to clean this area up. And finally here on the forward flybridge lounge, as I mentioned before, they also had this lounger set up with custom raising headrest. There have been many changes in the salon of hull number three of this triple five power catamaran. In this particular boat, these owners customized about every drawer and cabinet to what they wanted to do. And then onto every appliance they chose specifically. You'll also note above me, for those who are super detail oriented, seems larger in here. That's because we were able to find almost four more inches in the upper headliner of the salon of these boats. This is standard going forward. You can definitely feel a change in volume in this room. Moving over to the salon settee, you'll notice this is quite different as well. The seat depths are shorter per the customer's direction. There's ultra leather behind. And then this is really neat. These customers designed this custom ottoman for lounging, light dining, hors d'oeuvres with storage within. This is the first open plan Two Oceans 555. So you'll see the massive space that you have from the leading edge of the salon all the way to the outdoors. But up here on the forward edge, you have another dining settee as well as wet bar. And in this particular case, they chose a big GE ice maker and wine cooler. Extremely difficult to capture from this angle, but please note these beautiful high gloss African olive treads with stainless insert. Beginning in the port aft state room, something really neat to see here. This is in the standard twin configuration, but look, they also have the filler. So in those times when you don't need separate bed space, you put the filler in and there is no gap. It is a nice seamless transition from side to side, making almost a queen size bed. Here in the VIP, which is on the forward end of the port hull, you'll see this beautiful African olive finish. You'll also notice on this particular build, a television lift in the outboard cabinet. Now check this out. The starboard side of this hull is entirely custom and starting in the rear. This is an awesome bunk room. Kids, mom and dad, custom storage, and then finished off with, especially if you have children, you'll understand a wet head, not the regular separated toilet shower. So you can rinse the kids off nice and easy, no fuss, no muss. Unfortunately, all the relaxation that a Two Oceans 555 power catamaran can afford you. Well, some of us still have to work. And in this particular build, that's the way they are. And they built this nice separated office space out in the middle of the starboard hull just for this reason. Moving forward in the starboard hull, we just went through the office. Just forward of that is a custom head with larger shower. And now we enter the master. Again, beautiful African olive finish. It just, you can't even describe it with television lift. And of course we blocked it on the other side, but beautiful natural light coming from the outside. Here we are on the engine rooms. On the port side, you'll note there's a standalone Cummins Onan diesel generator within. Remember, this is an off-grid hybrid boat. So it's got the off-grid system, less the forward solar, but these owners wanted to add in an additional standalone generator.
