Available with an open or enclosed bridge, the Viking 76 Convertible is a Jersey-built thoroughbred with the amenities of a high-end motoryacht. The Viking brand has always been associated with quality, and the company remains one of the few family owned builders in the business. With five staterooms and four heads—plus a day head—the Viking 76 is capable of long-distance cruising in comfort and elegance. Mezzanine seating (with bait freezer under) overlooks the Viking’s huge 206 square-foot cockpit with two in-deck fish boxes, transom fish box (or livewell), and heavy-duty transom door. The vast salon features an L-shaped lounge to starboard, day head opposite, and huge galley forward with an island bar and three swivel chairs. Below, the full-beam master includes a king-sized bed as well as a desk and walk-in closet. The engine room has over seven feet of headroom, and Viking's unique Viper steering system controls the rudders independently and sets limits according to speed. Caterpillar and MTU diesels are offered as power choices. Depending upon engine selection, the 76 Convertible will cruise in the mid 30-knot range with a top end approaching 40 knots.
