The Viking 52 Convertible (not to be confused with the original Viking 52C introduced in 2002) is a state-of-the-art tournament yacht epitomizing the design and engineering excellence long associated with the Viking brand. Entering the salon from the cockpit, the inviting layout features an L-shape lounge, home theater system, dinette, and an L-shape galley complemented with Amtico flooring and island fronted with a two bar stools. The standard three-stateroom, two-head layout offers a choice of sleeping arrangements in the bow. The standard layout features crossover berths in the forward VIP stateroom with the lower a double bunk and the upper port side berth a large single. An optional plan offers a custom queen berth. In both versions the master is fitted with a walkaround queen bed and ensuite head and shower. A third stateroom to port has upper/lower berths. The port and forward guest staterooms are separated by a shared head and shower. The cockpit offers the convenience of an observation mezzanine, while the flybridge showcases Viking’s exclusive center console helm with flanking lounges and forward seating. Twin MAN 1400hp V12 diesels cruise at 32–34 knots (high 30s top).

Introduced in 2002 as a replacement for the Viking 50 Convertible, exceptional performance and lavish accommodations made the Viking 52 Convertible a favorite with sportfishing and cruising enthusiasts alike. Built on a modified-V hull with a wide 17'5"" beam, the luxurious three-stateroom, two-head interior of the Viking 52 features a spacious salon with L-shaped sofa to port, dinette to starboard, teak valences, and complete entertainment center. The home-size galley came standard with granite counters and Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer. Below, the amidships master stateroom contains a walkaround queen berth, and the VIP forward stateroom was available with an island berth or stacked single berths. Note the companionway laundry closet with stacked washer/dryer. At 145 square feet, the cockpit of the 52 Convertible is one of the largest in her class. Fishing amenities include a bait prep center with sink and freezer, tackle center, washdowns, and a large transom door. The meticulous engine room is accessed directly from the cockpit. A fast ride with standard 1050hp MANs cruise the Viking 52 at 28–30 knots (low 30s top). Optional 1300hp MANs cruise at 32–33 knots.
