A popular boat during her production years, the Tollycraft 34 Sport Sedan is a well-styled sedan cruiser with an impressive blend of quality construction, comfortable accommodations, and good open-water performance. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a relatively wide beam, the 34 Sport Sedan features a surprisingly open (and well-appointed) floorplan with two full staterooms—no small achievement in a 34-foot boat. A lower helm was standard, and the traditional teak interior of the Sport Sedan is one of her more appealing attributes. An insulated fish box is built into the cockpit sole, and molded steps at the corners provide easy access to the side decks. Two flybridge designs were offered: a helm-aft arrangement with guest seating forward for East Coast buyers, and a helm-forward layout with guest seating aft for the Pacific market. Additional features include a bow pulpit, swim platform, and a radar arch. Among several engine options (including diesels), twin 340hp Mercury gas engines cruise the Tollycraft 34 at 20 knots and reach a top speed in the high 20s. Note that fuel and water capacities were increased beginning with the 1988 models.
