4300 Convertible

The 4300 Convertible enjoyed a long production run for Tiara thanks to her appealing styling, upscale accommodations and a large, uncluttered fishing cockpit. She’s built on a beamy modified-V hull with a stepped sheer, a shallow keel and balsa-cored hullsides. Two floorplans were offered during her production years. The standard two-stateroom, two-head layout has the galley separated from the salon by a breakfast bar, and an alternate floorplan introduced in 1992 trades the guest stateroom for a large U-shaped dinette. Either way, the interior of the 4300 is luxurious, comfortable and extremely well appointed. The cockpit—large enough for several anglers and their gear—has a transom door, in-deck storage boxes, fresh- and salt-washdowns, and, beginning in 1994, direct access to the engine room. Topside, there’s plenty of space in the helm console for flush-mounting an array of electronics. Additional features include overhead rod storage in the salon, wide side decks, integral bow pulpit, and a choice of teak or oak interior woodwork. The 4300 will cruise at 23–24 knots with 550hp 6V92 GM diesels (28–29 knots top). More recent models with 660hp Cats cruise in the high 20s.
