2700 Open

Tiara Yachts 2700 Open
The Tiara 2700 Open is essentially the same boat as the Pursuit 2700 (1983–93) without the Pursuit’s tackle centers and fishing amenities. She’s built on a deep-V hull with a moderate beam, balsa-cored hullsides, and a steep 22 degrees of deadrise at the transom—a good offshore design with proven handling characteristics. The popularity of this boat has much to do with her built-in versatility. As a fisherman, her spacious single-level cockpit is completely uncluttered and large enough for a mounted chair. As a family cruiser, the 2700 Open offers the advantages of inboard power (most of her competitors have outboards or I/Os) and a proven offshore hull to go with her upscale interior. The cabin is arranged with a convertible V-berth/dinette forward, a compact galley with an electric stove, and a standup head with sink and shower. As it is in all Tiara products, the finish is exemplary for a production boat. Additional features include engine boxes, wide side decks, bow pulpit and swim platform. Crusader 270hp gas engines cruise the Tiara 2700 Open around 23 knots and reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 30 knots.
