2600-2700 Walkaround

A good-looking boat with her reverse transom and prominent hull graphics, the Stratos 2700 Walkaround—called the 2600 in 1992–92—is an affordably priced offshore fisherman that will appeal to a wide cross section of fresh- and saltwater anglers. She’s built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a molded pulpit and a trailerable 8-foot, 6-inch beam. The 2700 has a well-arranged deck plan with a roomy cockpit and wide walkarounds. The cockpit itself has about 40 square feet of platform behind the raised bridge deck and came standard with an in-deck livewell, a built-in fish box at the transom, a second fish box between the helm and companion seats, recessed rod holders, and a saltwater washdown. The cuddy cabin has a sink and enclosed head in addition to V-berths, removable dinette table, and dry storage. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, lockable storage for electronics in the helm console and transom door. A fiberglass hardtop was a popular option. Twin 200hp outboards cruise the Stratos 2700 Walkaround at 23–24 knots and reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 40 knots.
