Silverton got it right with the 330 Sport Bridge, a maxi-beam flybridge cruiser that ranks among the best-selling Silverton models of all time. Granted, her tall-freeboard profile won’t win any design awards, but hidden beneath the boxy exterior lies the accommodations of a much larger boat. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with an integrated swim platform, the interior of the Silverton 330 is laid out on a single level three steps down from the cockpit. Entering through a sliding glass door, the full-beam salon has a 6'5"" of headroom aft and close to eight feet forward. In early models, the galley is next to the companionway steps, to port, and the dinette is forward to starboard. In 2001, the floorplan was revised with a booth-style dinette and U-shaped galley to port, and curved settee forward to starboard. In both layouts, the head (with separate shower stall) is aft in the salon where it’s convenient to the cockpit and bridge, but a long way from the forward stateroom with its double berth, hanging locker, and sliding pocket door. Fiberglass steps in the cockpit lead up the huge party-time flybridge with sun pad, wet bar, and seating for 6–8 people. MerCruiser 300hp V-drive gas inboards cruise at 16–18 knots.
