Introduced in 2000, aggressive styling and a raft of innovative features combined to make the Sealine T47 one of the better yachting values available in the U.S. market. The accommodations are excellent; instead of three staterooms, the T47 has two, and both are large and comfortable. The galley is on the lower level to increase salon space, and an extra double berth folds out from the salon settee. The high-gloss cherry woodwork throughout the T47s interior is particularly impressivebetter than in any previous Sealine model. Sightlines from the lower helm are excellent, and theres an ingenious storage compartment with sliding trays in the galley sole. The crew cabin, under the teak-laid cockpit and accessed from the settee, is larger than expected and contains a washer/dryer in addition to a toilet and single berth. A cockpit entertainment center features a barbecue and refrigerator, and an overhead compartment stores the cockpit enclosure. Topside, the flybridge seats six comfortably and includes a sun pad. On the downside, working space between the motors is tight. Built on a deep-V hull with prop pockets, twin 480hp Volvo diesels cruise at 25 knots (about 30 knots top).
