The signature attribute of Sea Ray cruisers over the past 20 years has been bold, cutting-edge styling. That was certainly on display in 2000 when Sea Ray introduced its new 410 Express Cruiser, an executive-class sport yacht with as much sex appeal as any of the European imports. Built on a fully cored hull with a wide beam, the 410s two-stateroom floorplan provides luxurious accommodations for six. The forward stateroom has a full-size pedestal bed as well as private head access, and a circular pocket door closes off the starboard sitting room, converting it into a private stateroom with twin bunks. The galley is huge with generous counter space and plenty of storage. High-gloss cherry woodwork, faux granite countertops, and decorator fabrics highlight the interior. Topside, the 410 Express Cruiser provides a large cockpit area as well as wide walkways to the foredeck. The forward cockpit sole lifts electrically for easy engine access, and the helm seat has a flip-up bolster so the captain can drive standing up. Additional features include a cockpit wet bar, foredeck sun pad, transom storage locker, and side exhausts. Among several engine options, 420hp Cat diesels cruise in the mid 20s (2830 knots top).
