With her seamless hardtop, large hull windows, and sweeping sheer the Sea Ray 370 Sundancer (called the 350 Sundancer in 2008–09) strikes the right balance of innovative design and next-generation styling. Introduced in 2008, the 370 became yet another Sundancer sales success in spite of a severely depressed boating economy. Nearly all late-model Sundancers are built on deep-V hulls with cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass bottom. While Sundancers are generally known for their cutting-edge styling, the 370’s especially lush cabin accommodations are a match for the most expensive European sport yachts. With 6'7"" of cabin headroom and a huge mid-stateroom, the interior is that of a considerably larger boat. The 370’s comfortable cockpit can seat a small crowd and includes a deluxe wet bar with refrigerator, teak cockpit table, power engine-room hatch, and a clever aft-facing transom seat that folds out of the lazarette and overlooks the swim platform. The swivel helm and companion seats are a nice touch. Cruise at 24–26 knots with 375hp gas I/Os, and about 20 knots with V-drive inboards. Axius power with joystick control is also available.

Like many Sea Ray models, the 350 Sundancer (called the 370 Sundancer in 1992–94) has aged well over the years. She was a stylish boat when she was introduced in 1990, and she remains a handsome express design even by today’s standards. Built on a deep-V hull with a wide 12-foot, 4-inch beam, the Sundancer’s interior is fairly conventional with a midcabin area aft and a stateroom forward. The salon is dominated by a huge semicircular sofa that converts to a sleeper for two, and while a curtain is used for mid-stateroom privacy, a door separates the forward stateroom from the main cabin. The head contains a separate stall shower, and an optional TV/VCR swivels out for easy viewing from anywhere in the cabin. Topside, the 350/370 Sundancer’s cockpit is arranged with a double helm seat, aft-facing seat, transom bench seat, and a wet bar with sink and cooler. An integral bow pulpit, radar arch, and transom door were standard. Note that in 1994—the final year of production—Sea Ray added U-shaped lounge seating in the cockpit and replaced the original sliding cabin windows with oval ports. Twin 310hp MerCruiser V-drive inboards cruise at 20 knots (high 20s top).
