A handsome boat with rakish styling and a low-profile appearance, the 310 Sport Bridge is basically a Sea Ray 310 Amberjack with a flybridge and semi-enclosed lower helm. She’s built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam, side-dumping exhausts, and prop pockets to reduce shaft angles. With no salon bulkhead, the lower helm is open to the huge cockpit, which consumes well over half of the boat’s length. While the 310’s layout is basic, the accommodations are certainly up to the demands of hard-core anglers or cruising enthusiasts. A bulkhead separates the cabin from the optional lower helm, and a dinette is to port under the flybridge. While cabin space is at a premium, the 310 manages to include overnight berths for two plus a standup head with shower, small galley, and a removable table. Topside, the compact flybridge has seating for two. Additional features include hinged motor boxes, wide side decks, and a swim platform. Note that storage space is hard to come by on this boat. Twin 310hp MerCruisers cruise at 23 knots (30–31 knots top), and optional 300hp Cummins diesels cruise in the high 20s and reach 30+ knots wide open.
