The Scout 280 Sportfish is a good-looking center console whose quality construction, excellent performance, and superior fit and finish are a match for anything in her class. She rides on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 9'5"" beam, reverse transom, and very high bow freeboard. It’s notable that the fiberglass stringers of the Scout 280 run straight through the transom and into the engine mount, transmitting the load generated by the engines throughout the hull.
