Sabre Yachts
34 Express
2004–09
Once the province of custom New England builders, the market for Downeast cruising yachts has grown rapidly in recent years—proof, if any were needed, that classic styling never grows old. Sabre Yachts has long been a leader in this market, producing a series of Downeast-style yachts distinguished by their handsome lines and yacht-class accommodations. Introduced in 2006, the Sabre 34 Hardtop Express combines the versatility of an open-deck express with the luxury of a premium cruising yacht. She’s built on an Airex-cored modified-V hull with shallow prop pockets and a generous 13'3" beam. Her elevated helm deck offers clear sight lines from the Stidd helm chair, and the convertible backrest at the forward end of the L-shaped settee creates a companion seat. A full-service galley is located to starboard, aft of the helm seat. Forward and below, the 34’s posh cabin with convertible settee, queen bed forward, and large head with separate stall shower is perfect for the cruising couple. Note the sliding cabin windows and wide side decks. Cruise at 25 knots (30+ top) with twin 370hp Volvo inboard diesels.
