The Sabre 38 Express (not to be confused with the Sabre 38 Salon Express introduced in 2013) combines classic Downeast styling and lively performance in a hardtop cruising yacht of exceptional beauty. Built on vacuum-bagged hull with moderate beam and prop pockets to level the engines, the focal point of the 38 Express is her semi-enclosed helm deck with its Stidd helm and companion chairs, sliding glass side windows, and wet bar with refrigerator and ice maker. Stepping below, the satin-finished cherry interior adds to the Sabres sense of luxury. The owners stateroom forward has a centerline queen berth and sliding privacy door, making it both comfortable and easy to access. The head (with separate stall shower) can be reached from both the salon and stateroom. The main salon is configured with a long L-shaped leather settee to starboard with a maple-inlaid table that drops to form a guest berth. The galley is to port complete with Corian counter and microwave. The hardtop has a pair of screened hatches for ventilation. Wide side decks make bow access easy and secure. Yanmar 440hp diesels cruise at 2526 knots (30+ top).
