The Pro-Line 27 Walk is an updated version of the Pro-Line 2610 (1998–99) with an integrated swim platform rather than the standard transom of her predecessor. Her most distinguishing feature—and the force behind her popularity—is an unusually spacious layout. Where most 27-footers carry a beam in the range of 9 feet or so, the 27 Walk’s extra-wide 9'10"" beam made her one of the biggest boats in her class. Available with sterndrive or outboard power, the 65-square-foot cockpit of the 27 Walk rivals many larger boats in size. Standard features included a hardtop with radio box, bow pulpit, transom livewell, raw-water washdown, cockpit bolsters, tackle storage trays, transom shower, in-floor fish boxes (2), transom door, and trim tabs. Below deck, her spacious cabin sleeps two and includes a standup head with sink and shower, galley with stove and refrigerator, rod storage racks, and convertible dinette/V-berth. Not noted for her fuel efficiency, the 27 Walk tops out in the mid 30s with twin 200 outboards, while a single MerCruiser 7.4L I/O will reach a top speed of close to 30 knots.
