Navigator Yachts
63 Classic
1998–2000
Flagship of the Navigator fleet in 1998, the Navigator 63 is built on the same hull used in the production of her smaller sisterships, the Navigator 58 and 61. Unlike her three-stateroom, two-head siblings, however, the extra length of the 63 allows for a more expansive three-stateroom, three-head layout (updated in 2002) with an opulent master suite. Both the dinette and galley are on the pilothouse level which extends well aft before the step-down to the salon level. This makes the salon dimensions seem compact compared with other yachts her size, but this floorplan arrangement effectively separates the galley from the primary entertainment/lounge area, which will appeal to many cruisers. Visibility from the pilothouse, with its wraparound dinette and deck access door, is good in nearly all directions. Additional features include inside and outside flybridge access, a spacious engine room, a large swim platform with twin boarding doors, a well-arranged flybridge with centerline helm and guest seating, and maple interior woodwork. Twin 660hp Cat diesels cruise the Navigator 63 at a 19–20 knots and reach a top speed of around 23 knots.
