Navigator Yachts
4300 Flybridge Sedan
1990–94
The Navigator 4300 has the distinction of being one of the better-looking flybridge boats built in recent years. This is one of Navigator’s earliest models; introduced in 1990, she was priced very competitively compared with other boats of her type and size. Like subsequent boats in the Navigator fleet, the 4300 rides on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull with plenty of beam and an integrated swim platform. With her small cockpit, few anglers will find the 4300 to be a serious fishing platform. As a family cruiser, however, she’s in her element. At least two floorplans were offered during her production run, both two-stateroom, galley-up affairs with differing galley configurations. Both layouts included a double berth in each cabin, and each head came with a separate stall shower compartment. While the cabin accommodations are spacious for a boat this size, the look and feel of the interior is fairly Spartan. Note that a lower helm station was optional. Additional features include a radar arch, bow pulpit, transom door and serviceable side decks. Among several diesel engine options, twin 330hp Volvos cruise the Navigator 4300 at a respectable 21–22 knots and reach a top speed of around 26 knots.
