Monte Fino
65 Motor Yacht
1993–98
The Monte Fino 65 is an Asian-built pilothouse yacht whose lush accommodations, quality construction, and competitive price came as a surprise to many luxury-yacht buyers in the 1990s. Offered with a high degree of customization, several interior layouts were offered for the 65 with a four-stateroom floorplan being the most popular. The spacious salon of the Monte Fino is arranged on two levels with the dining area, galley, and lower helm forward, and the formal salon aft. The lavish owner’s suite is accessed via a curved staircase in the salon, and each of the three forward guest staterooms has a private head. (Note that the bow crew quarters are reached from a hatch in the foredeck.) The customizing extended to a wide variety of wood finishes which could be specified for the salon and cabin. Topside, the extended flybridge comes complete with a wet bar, tender storage, and plenty of lounge seating. Additional features include a spacious engine room (accessed from the owner’s stateroom), galley deck door, a roomy aft deck, and an integral swim platform with built-in storage. Cat 800hp engines cruise at a respectable 18 knots (low 20s top).
