The Meridian 368 delivers many of the features found in a full size motor yacht in a compact 36-foot hull. Equally important, she did it at a price point designed to appeal to entry-level buyers. For openers, this is a coastal cruiser and not an offshore passagemaker. Range is limited thanks to the 368s modest fuel tankage, and her low-deadrise hull is no picnic in an offshore chop. When it comes to amenities, however, the Meridian is in her element. Beginning with a spacious salon and including two comfortable staterooms, a well-appointed galley with cherry joinery, and two full heads, the accommodations of the 368 rival those of a much larger boat. The salons tiered windows admit plenty of natural lighting while providing a panoramic view of the outdoors, and a large picture window in the master stateroom overlooks the extended swim platform. On the flybridge, the helm is forward and a wet bar and lounge seating are aft. Additional features include bow and stern thrusters, teak-and-holly galley floor, opening salon windows, and salon entertainment center. Standard 370hp gas engines cruise at 1819 knots, and optional 330hp Cummins diesels cruise in the mid 20s.
