Marinette 37 Marquis Motor Yacht
The Marinette 37 Motor Yacht (basically a downsized version of the larger Marinette 41 Motor Yacht) is a well-styled cruising boat whose principal appeal lies in her lightweight aluminum construction, comfortable interior, and economical operation. Aside from her attractive profile, the Marinette 37 boasts a very practical floorplan with double berths in both staterooms, two large heads (each with a stall shower), a big galley with full-size refrigerator, and a compact salon with a portside lower helm. (Note that most lower helms are located to starboard.) Aside from the too-small salon, these are surprisingly roomy accommodations for a 37-footer. The interior is finished with teak trim and cabinetry throughout, and tinted wraparound cabin windows provide a good deal of natural lighting in both the salon and galley areas. The 37’s full-width aft deck offers a sizable entertainment platform with room for several chairs. Additional features include a salon wet bar, bow pulpit, a spacious flybridge, and a radar arch. A light boat for her size, the Marinette 37 MY will cruise at 20 knots with standard 350hp Crusader gas inboards and reach a top speed of 27–28 knots.
