Horizon Yachts
76 Motor Yacht
2001–07
One of the top-selling yachts in this class for several years, the Horizon 76 was available with an open flybridge or with an enclosed “Skylounge” accessed from the aft deck or a semicircular stairwell from the galley. Those who doubted the ability of Taiwan yards to deliver a quality product were impressed with the level of finish found in the Horizon 76. Built on a vacuum-bagged hull with a solid fiberglass bottom, the hullsides and superstructure are cored with Divinycell foam. The main deck has an open arrangement with a seating area, entertainment center and full-service bar aft. Depending on the layout (there were several), the dining area is adjacent to the galley or forward. A staircase to port descends to the owner and guest staterooms. The full-beam master has a king bed, walk-in wardrobe and desk area, and his-and-her baths with a common shower. A VIP stateroom with queen-size berth is forward, and the third cabin to starboard has two single berths. Crew quarters are reached from the swim platform or salon. Cat 1,400hp diesels cruise at 20–21 knots. The Horizon 82 Cockpit MY is the same boat with a cockpit extension and extra fuel.
